Completion in VietnamOur Hanoi / HCMC office receives the originals, completes the process with the Vietnamese authority and hands over the result to the person you nominate.

Until 10 September 2026: Notary → DFAT Authentication → consular legalisation.

What the Embassy does — and what we do
Nguyen Do Lawyers is not an Embassy or Consulate and is not affiliated with any diplomatic mission. We do not issue passports, visas or consular documents. What we provide is independent legal work: advice, drafting to the receiving authority’s requirements, notarisation by a Notary Public (Supreme Court of Victoria), DFAT certification, and completion in Vietnam through our own offices.

Do I need to fly back to Vietnam?
Usually no — you sign in Australia and our Vietnam offices do the rest. Some limited matters legally require attendance in person; we will tell you at the document check.
How long does it take?
It depends on the document and the receiving authority. After the document check we quote a timeframe and a fixed fee in writing before you decide.
Do documents legalised before 11 September 2026 need re-doing under Apostille?
Transitional treatment depends on the receiving authority’s rules at the time of use — contact us to check your specific case.
What does it cost?
The first consultation is a paid consultation, quoted up front; the fixed fee depends on the document type and certification steps required — always confirmed in writing first.
